Anonymous asked: Hi, Do you meditate? If so do you feel it has changed your life/perspective in any way? Much love.
Yes! I was properly introduced to meditation throughout my time in a psychiatric hospital just a couple of years ago. I was undergoing many spiritual, mental, even physical transformations during this period, so I welcomed meditation with my scarred and skinny arms, with the little strength and faith I had left, so as not to disrupt this flow of love and light and fresh energy I was beginning to feel. After I was released, I continued basic meditation as a means of coping with whenever I was feeling particularly sad or distressed, but since then it has become a far more dedicated approach that I try to invest time in every day. I’m a much happier and healthier person than I was back then. I’m lighter and I’m learned.. and the most beautiful part, I think, is that there is no limit to how I feel, to how far I can evolve. The more we meditate, the closer to One we become. Namaste!
Om shiva shankara, Hari hari ganga
A mantra for taking dope from ‘Be Here Now’ by Ram Dass.
The Four Bodhisattva Vows (say three times)
1. I resolve to become enlightened for the sake of all living beings.
2. I will cut the roots of all delusive passions.
3. I will penetrate the farthest gate of Dharma.
4. I will realise the supreme way of Buddha.
