Anonymous asked: You should read the his dark materials series ( the golden compass, subtle knife, and thee amber spyglass)! I think you would enjoy it
I would if I hadn’t already read them as a kid.. Thanks, I did enjoy them though.

The floor has gone missing in my room. I’ve resorted to using the stacks of books lying around as safety zones and/or stepping stones.
My cat has made her home in my underwear and I haven’t changed my sheets in months.
I am divine!

I hope you find what you’re looking for! On the same note, I just bought ‘The Valkyries’ by Paulo Coehlo and ‘Metamorphosis’ by Franz Kafka today. Maybe try those too? Peace.

wicked-fucking-witch asked: I have read American Psycho. Have you at any time had to put the book down and take a breather from the writing. Like, there are some bits in there that I found so utterly disgusting I was repulsed by the thought of them. That normally isn't like me.
I haven’t as of yet, but perhaps the worst is yet to come.. Yes, the writing can be incredibly confronting, however, I think what you choose to do when you approach these parts, whether it be to read through them or take a breather, is all part of your intended reading experience. The author is testing you. So it’s important that you react, but there are no rules as to how that should be. Namaste!

Anonymous asked: what book are you reading at the moment, if any?
I’m reading both ‘Kafka on the Shore’ by Haruki Murakami and ‘American Psycho’ by Bret Easton Ellis. I get overexcited with my books so it’s not unusual for me to read more than one at a time.

Eggs benedict and sex for breakfast, flourless chocolate cake for lunch, a fat spliff for my rainy day afternoon tea.. I bought ‘Kafka on the Shore’ by Haruki Murakami, and ‘Dharma Bums’ by Jack Kerouac for my precious collection somewhere along the lines of today as well. Bonobo is playing at The Metro tonight. I’d say that’s a pretty solid dinner to top it all off. Keep smiling, strangers. Love and light.
